April Mortgages
Specialist LenderApril Mortgages is a specialist UK residential lender, part of the DMFCO group, distributing only through intermediaries. It offers 5-, 10- and 15-year fixes whose rate steps down as the loan-to-value falls, with no early repayment charge when the borrower sells, overpays, or repays from their own funds.

About April Mortgages
April Mortgages Limited was incorporated on 16 July 2021 and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 989666). The registered office is 158-160 North Gower Street, London, NW1 2ND. April is part of the DMFCO group, the largest independent asset manager of Dutch residential mortgages. The same long-term fixed-rate approach was first used in the Netherlands through DMFCO's lender MUNT, launched in 2014.
April lends on UK residential house purchases. Published products are 5-, 10- and 15-year fixes, including a no-deposit mortgage, AffordAbility+ income stretch, Interest Only+ with a part-and-part option, and new-build mortgages. The pay rate reduces automatically when the loan-to-value falls during the term, including after a valuation the customer requests, without a product switch. There is no early repayment charge for moving home, regular overpayments, lump sums, or full redemption from the borrower's own funds. Overpayments from the borrower's own money are uncapped. Charges do apply if the mortgage is refinanced to another lender.
Distribution is intermediary-only, through a restricted panel that is not open to new registrations. Brokers who are not already registered can join a waiting list via the broker support desk. Applications and decisions in principle are submitted through the April broker portal. The no-deposit product is for credit-worthy buyers: published criteria include a clean credit history, income from £24,000, a maximum loan of £600,000, income multiple under 4.49 times, and a 10- or 15-year fix. AffordAbility+, which can lend up to 7 times income, cannot be used with the no-deposit product.
