Mike initially locked us into a mortgage offer involving a then-competitive rate of 4.90%. However, whilst the inherently slow house purchase process progressed, Mike kept his eye sharp on the ball and repeatedly renegotiated our offer as the mortgage interest rates decreased. His sincere fight to ensure our acquisition of the best mortgage arrangement possible culminated in our obtainment of a mortgage interest rate of 4.49%, meaning he saved us £4200 over the course of our 5-year fixed-rate deal!
