30 Mar 2025I was given misleading advice in March 2024 which led to my house purchase falling through at the last minute due to a massive oversight on Barbara's part, which she acknowledged at the time and profusely apologised for, as well as telling me she would reimburse me my losses, which amounted to £9000+. To date, there has been no reimbursement, although I was offered a measly and insulting £360 and instead my emails have been ignored, resulting in me having to start legal proceedings against Nest Finance. Despite both Barbara and her mortgage network accepting liability, they have then tried to apportion the blame onto myself as a mortgage adviser, perhaps like a surgeon operating on another surgeon and getting it wrong and then blaming the patient. Poor, disrespectful outcome. Barbara also does not deal with anything herself and gets her business partner to do her dirty work for her. This could have all been resolved amicably and over the last 12 months I have given Nest Finance multiple opportunities to put their failure right and they have hidden away, clearly hoping this would all go away. I was a vulnerable client that was taken advantage of.
