Outstanding service – highly recommended! Before finding Home Mortgage Brokers, we had consultations with four different mortgage brokers. One of them even tried to charge us £1,500 upfront and offered us a mortgage deal with a 7% interest rate. The others also said 7% was the best we could get – insisting that nothing better was available in the current market. On top of that, our situation was quite complicated – most banks required at least two years of continuous residency in the UK, but we had spent a year living abroad, which made it extremely difficult to get approved for a mortgage. We kept hearing that we didn’t meet the criteria and that nothing could be done. Then we came across Ms Agnes from Home Mortgage Brokers, and everything changed. Despite our unusual circumstances, she managed to secure us a mortgage at 5.65%, significantly lower than anything the others had offered. Not only that, but her fee was also very reasonable compared to the brokers we had spoken to previously. Ms Agnes and Ms Catherine treated us not just as clients, but as friends or even family. They were warm, genuine, and consistently went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process. Whenever our solicitor was slow or unresponsive, Agnes would immediately follow up, call, email, and do whatever it took to get things moving. The same with the bank – if there were any delays, she chased them promptly to ensure progress was made. They also helped us arrange the best life insurance policy we could find, far better than what we had been previously offered elsewhere. And to top it all off, they provided a free will-writing service, which was a lovely and unexpected bonus. We genuinely could not have asked for better support, and I can honestly say that we haven’t come across a better mortgage broker anywhere in the UK.
