Open Vision, and in particular Justin P and Vicky L were fantastic from start to finish. Having been through an acrimonious divorce, I was in a truly impaired credit position when the only option to save the house for the children was to purchase my ex-partner's share in the former family home and retake full ownership. Given the cost and impaired credit, specialist lending was my only option. I spoke to 6 brokers in order to resolve the situation and 5, including 2 'we'll search the whole market and find something for you' type propositions, all turned me down and said it was impossible. Justin called late on the day I found him through Unbiased and asked me to leave it with him. Within two weeks, he presented options to make it work. Over the next 8 weeks, he guided me through every step of his negotiations with the lenders, advised the best course of action, and clearly communicated what he needed to make this work so that I could provide the information early. He oversaw everything to the point of application and then handed off to Vicky to cover the steps of working with the lender. Vicky fielded almost daily calls with hopes for updates, and never got frustrated with the same questions, and managed expectations at every turn. Within a total of three months, I had moved from arrears and debt to a position where my children still have the family home they grew up in, and I'm able to rebuild, and Justin has already pencilled in a review for a year before remortgaging to look at the best options. In short - the service was excellent. Having gone to Open Vision in a time of very specific needs - I won't be going anywhere else in future.
