Avoid this place for taking your scrap gold tried to offer me £100 less than what it was worth & tell me that a few cubic zirconia in 1 earring would way 4 grams lol as if.. went round the corner to James bowe where I was given £70 more than what they offered thats a big difference!! So glad I checked online first the going rate.. The atmosphere in the shop wasn't great either felt cold and uncaring though they was never rude.. think they just seen me come in in my joggers and trainers and thought yh she'll be desperate let's offer her nothing lol glad I went off amd looked around

They gave me a much better exchange rate than any other in Stockport. Staff wasn't rude at all, i actually found that customers where the rude there. And for the guy that says that they want to make money out of desperate people... well, of course, its a pawn shop, you don't go there unless you're desperate.

Had an absolutely horrendous experience!!! Bought my wedding ring from here, they sent my engagement & wedding rings away to be resized but when they returned they were totally misshaped... Staff were rude & argumentative but eventually agreed to send them away again. This time when they came back the hallmark was missing from my wedding ring!! They said I'd have to pay to have the hallmark put back on the ring, despite there being a hallmark when I bought the ring!!! I ended up getting a refund & having to go looking for another wedding ring 2 weeks before my wedding... I will never buy from them again, the staff had me in tears & I asked for the owner to contact me but was told a week later he'd gone on holiday... Very unprofessional indeed!!!
