Mortgagewise

My resolution this year was to get on the property ladder. I called mortgage wise in January and I was assigned Brian as my advisor. I was looking for advice on how to best position myself to buy this year. From our initial conversation, Brian’s positive attitude was contagious. Through questioning, he was able to identify that I was in a much better position than I thought. He encouraged me to consolidate my savings and start viewing properties. This shift in mindset made me start looking at ways to save more (I even cancelled a holiday I had booked). Brian encouraged me to speak to other mortgage advisors so I can compare what was on the market. The other advisors I spoke to told me I was not ready and that I needed to stop searching and concentrate on saving. I relayed to Brian that I would be halting my search but he urged me to continue. The next property I viewed, I put an offer in and I was accepted. I was hoping to buy by December, but here I am just a month after I started searching. And it’s all thanks to Brian’s advice, positive attitude and encouragement. Emma has also been brilliant in handling all the paperwork. It’s all happened so fast, and they have not skipped a beat! Their recommended solicitor Archibald Sharp have been amazing. Their response rate is rapid and I credit Heather for putting my offer in quickly as the competition was high. In my first conversation with Brian, he told me that it would happen faster than I thought, but no way did I think it would only take a month. I can’t thank you all enough.

I would highly recommend using MortgageWise. As a first-time buyer, I really appreciated their support and guidance throughout every step of the process. A huge thank you to Steph, who was fantastic from start to finish — professional, helpful, and always available to answer any questions. I couldn’t have asked for better support.

This will be another 5-star review out of the hundreds for MortgageWise, and after having been advised by Stephanie and Emma from MortgageWise, it is clear why there are so many positive reviews. My partner and I were looking to purchase our first house, and I am so glad we were recommended to go to MortgageWise for our mortgage advice. Stephanie and Emma were brilliant from start to finish; they helped explain the full process of purchasing a house, understood our needs, and recommended the best options for our circumstance. Stephanie guided us, from holding our initial Teams meeting, and regularly checking in and updating us through a WhatsApp group, to sorting everything for our solicitor to proceed with the purchase. I definitely recommend anyone, who is a first time buyer, to go to MortgageWise for the best experience. What could've been a stressful process, Stephanie made sure it was as smooth and stress-free as possible.

We recently returned to MortgageWise to handle our mortgage renewal, and once again, the service was exceptional. From the outset, Anthony was highly informative and maintained clear, professional lines of communication. He efficiently identified the most competitive deal and provided a transparent explanation of the transition process between lenders. The entire experience was seamless and required minimal effort on our part. Having used MortgageWise for several years, I have seen them go from strength to strength, consistently delivering a personalised and streamlined service. I highly recommend their expertise to anyone seeking mortgage advice.

Anthony has been absolutely exceptional throughout my entire mortgage journey. From start to finish, he was consistently responsive, clear and supportive, making what could have been a very stressful process feel straightforward and manageable. No question ever felt like too much, and every enquiry was handled promptly and professionally. Given my circumstances, I was genuinely concerned about whether securing a mortgage would be possible at all. Anthony worked tirelessly to pull everything together and ultimately secured me an amazing deal that exceeded my expectations. His expertise, determination and reassurance throughout the process made a world of difference. Towards the end of the process, Emma and Peter were also fantastic in keeping everything on track and making sure I was kept fully updated and reassured. Their communication, patience and support really helped things feel seamless and well coordinated. I truly couldn’t have asked for better service, and I will be forever grateful to Anthony, Emma and Peter for everything they have done to help me achieve my first home.
