4 Mar 2026Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (0/10) Do not waste your time or money with this company. We should have listened to the other negative reviews. After spending over £1,000 in fees, we were rejected based on "policies" that completely ignore real-life circumstances. My partner was in an abusive situation and forced to move out of her previous property, which meant temporarily covering both rent and a mortgage. Despite the fact that the previous house has since been settled in full, this company refused to show any flexibility. Expecting us to reach out in September when the proprety we really wanted would obviously never wait the long if another seller comes by. The most insulting part? They told us they would only reconsider the application if we provided a court order. Anyone with a brain in the UK knows that getting a court order can take six months or more. Expecting a homebuyer to put their life on hold for half a year just to satisfy a "policy" is laughable and proves this system is designed to protect the company’s bottom line, not the people they claim to support. We were transparent from day one, yet we were led on for 2 weeks and given false hope. To the company: Do not bother with your automated "please get in touch" reply. We’ve been in touch for two weeks, and you’ve made it clear that your rigid, outdated tick-boxes matter more than the safety or financial recovery of your clients. You have let us down completely. Also after doing some research I am not sure how true this is: "Since they(broker/Lender) specifically suggested trying for a court order regarding an abuse situation, they might actually be in breach of the FCA’s Guidance on Consumer Vulnerability. Lenders are supposed to be flexible and "proportional" with the evidence they request. Demanding a court order for a mortgage DIP is arguably an "unreasonable barrier." Anyhow not going to waste anymore time here and stress here.
