McGill Mortgages

We received an absolutely phenomenal service. As first time homeowners we didn’t know where to start. Derek made the process very simple and easy to understand. No questions were unanswered and each piece of advice given was highly thought through. Our best interest was at the forefront the entire time. We are now happy in our little home mortgage sorted, insurances sorted, etc. I couldn’t recommend a better mortgage advisor!

I had an excellent experience with Derek McGill while buying my first home with my partner. As first-time buyers, the process felt overwhelming at times, but Derek was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout. He explained everything clearly, made sure I understood my options, and was always available to answer questions and offer reassurance. Derek worked hard to find the best mortgage for my situation and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. I genuinely felt looked after from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend Derek highly enough to any first-time buyer looking for expert advice and outstanding service.

From our first conversation through to completion, my mortgage adviser(Derek Watson) provided outstanding support. He took the time to understand our situation, explained all options clearly, and kept us informed at every stage. His professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding , as a 1st time buyer I was very anxious Derek gave me real peace of mind throughout the whole process. It was more of a relaxed friendly approach he has with his clients it makes it more of a personal touch which put me at ease. I would highly recommend Derek to anyone seeking expert mortgage advice

Derek was really helpful when we bought our first home. He made the process feel easier and we knew that we could trust him. He gave us constant updates about our mortgage application and we knew if we needed him no matter what time of day, he was there. We are so glad we know Derek so that he can continue to help us with our mortgage in the future.

We cannot recommend Derek highly enough! From start to finish, he made the whole mortgage process so easy. We had our mortgage in principle within a day, and he was always super responsive to texts and calls. Buying a new home can be incredibly stressful, but with Derek, it was completely stress-free. My husband and I were so happy with his support and guidance, and we would recommend him 100 times over!
