Mortgage brokers in East Sussex (BN22)

BN22 is a postcode district covering East Sussex, South East England.

Broker offices in this district most commonly reference Eastbourne, so compare both proximity and whether the adviser regularly handles your type of property or income.

Postcode districts are delivery geographies, so a broker shown here may also advise clients across neighbouring districts, while brokers outside BN22 may still cover a property in the area.

Postcode districts such as BN22 (East Sussex, South East England) are useful for finding nearby broker offices, but mortgage pricing still depends on the property, deposit, affordability, credit profile, and lender criteria.

Ask advisers whether they have recent experience with the local property type you are buying or remortgaging, especially where flats, lease terms, new-builds, or landlord finance may affect underwriting.

The Bank of England Bank Rate is one input to mortgage pricing; see the Bank base rate page on this site for the figure we publish. The deal you are offered still depends on deposit, term, fixed vs variable, and affordability stress tests — not any single headline rate.

Use this page as a shortlist of broker offices in BN22, then compare each profile for specialisms, fees, review volume, and whether the adviser can work around your preferred communication style.

For BN22 (East Sussex, South East England), the useful local question is not just "who is nearest?" but "who understands my property and income profile?"

A good broker will flag issues lenders care about early: lease length, service charges, building height, construction type, deposit source, rental stress tests, or credit history. That matters more than choosing by distance alone. Broker office locations on this page commonly include Eastbourne.

• Shortlist two or three BN22 brokers from the list above that match your situation.
• Check FCA details on the broker profile and confirm whether the firm is directly authorised or an appointed representative.
• Ask about fees and lender access before you submit documents or agree to an application.
• Compare advice quality, not just the first quoted rate — the right lender fit can matter as much as headline pricing.
