I called fine homes today to view a rental property. the agent kept on saying that it is a long term agreement for an year. I reminded the agent that I can sign 1 year contract but because the law has changed now, I can give 2 months notice from 1st May 2026 and get out of the contract. To this the agent started screaming at me that she knows laws better and I should not be telling her. It is baffling how they react to your justified questions. All I wanted was a viewing really!!!
