Ascot Lloyd - Financial Advisers in Birmingham

Would not recommend this company to anyone due to the stress they have caused me by their incompetence. I have had the misfortune to deal with them twice in the last 8 months. First as an Executor for my late father's estate and now as Lasting Power of Attorney for my sister, who has learning disabilities. You would think getting a valuation of my father's investment for Probate was a simple and straightforward request, but it became a constant battle to get the information as Ascot Lloyd personnel made mistakes resulting in a delay applying for the Grant of Probate. A complaint was submitted then and a second complaint is ongoing with my current dealings with them, relating to my sister's investment. I submitted a request to Ascot Lloyd over 2 months ago for her monies to be paid out to fund a retirement flat she is buying. Her money has still not been released even after hours of phone calls and correspondence, and jumping through hoops for them. Their processes/procedures are an absolute shambles, and no-one it seems has any authority to get things done. My sister's flat purchase is nearing completion and there is no sign of her savings to pay for it. The Complaints Department have been aware of this situation for a while, but does anyone help? NO!
