I was expecting the process of getting a mortgage to be incredibly arduous and stressful, but from the very first email, Lorna was exceptionally helpful, and did everything she could to make sure it was neither arduous or stressful for me. The first virtual meeting set my mind at ease, and Lorna explained the whole process, covered the information required to very quickly provide some idea of what I could borrow, and provided a breakdown of what I would need to save to ensure I could successfully purchase my first home. With that information I decided to buy, and that process started on the 1st of January, I wasn't expecting anyone to respond so early in the new year, but I got a quick reply from Lorna and from there it was just some requests for extra documents from me, but while I know it's not the case it felt like it all just came together in the background, and before I knew it, everything was done. While I was happy to accept the the first offer, Lorna was also looking through a second application to try and save some money (although their slow replies put me off) I appreciated having someone in my corner doing everything they could to get me the best deal! I'm sure my mortgage experience isn't unique, but for someone going through it for the first time, I can't think of a better person to be doing it on my behalf, and I'll be recommending her to anyone who asks!
