29 Jan 2026Pathetic service and a deeply disappointing tenancy checkout experience. After living in the property for three years and paying rent on time every single month, I am now forced to chase my own deposit repayment. Every follow-up is met with the same excuses — either my point of contact is “out of the office” or the landlord “has not yet responded.” This begs the question: what exactly do letting agents do if they cannot manage such a basic responsibility? Coordinating with the landlord and ensuring deposits are returned promptly is literally your job — not the tenant’s. Had I missed or delayed even one rent payment during the last three years, I would undoubtedly have been chased relentlessly. Yet when it comes to returning my money, there is zero urgency or accountability. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable service.
