I’ve been a mortgage prisoner for over 15 years, and it feels like they’ve taken away the best years of my financial life. The lack of flexibility and fairness has left me stuck, unable to move forward or take advantage of opportunities like others have. It’s been incredibly frustrating and disheartening.

If there was an option for 0 stars it would be… ex northern rock customer. Having to sell our family home of 30 years this year due to not being given an option to re- mortgage and been charged horrendous interest rates with no offers of lower rates, TSB should be ashamed of owning these vultures. The interest only rates we have been charged means we could have paid our mortgage off years ago if we were given the option… Staff are shocking and have absolutely no empathy and talk to you like you are a child! I hope the CEO is happy when they get their money back, unlike us who have had a life of stressful misery due to their performance , with the added stress of having an uncertain future in our 60’s

If I could leave zero stars I would. Absolutely appalling company. In the past year I've received compensation about three to four times because they told me I was in arrears even though I wasn't and had in fact been over paying on my mortgage. Then they changed my address to a Whistletree PO Box address and cannot explain why. I can't wait to be rid of them. The interest rates are also criminally high. They really should be investigated by the FSA.

Worst company I have dealt with in my life. Useless and rude customer care who are not able to perform simple tasks. Complaints procedure is a total white wash. Avoid at all costs. We have now fortunately changed mortgage suppliers. They are now chasing us for money when the mortgage has been settled and we are no longer a customer! Stating we are in arrears and wrongly dictating we must make an immediate payment. Absolutely ridiculous. Very aggressive, I don't know how they haven't been investigated. It gets even better. After approx 12 threatening calls, they have now sent a cheque for £33 as the settlement was over paid! At least the cheque was in the correct names (this took them 6 months to sort previously). This lot should be running a circus, not mortgages. 🤠🎪
