I would recommend Alexander Financial Services for a few reasons. From our first conversation Stephen was both professional and really friendly. I was not a standard client but he listened carefully to my circumstances and gave me lots of useful information about the options I was thinking about for my long term strategy and the path I wanted to take. He spent time making sure he understood my needs and came back very quickly with a range of products which we then discussed before I made a final choice. Discovered Steve through a website for mortgage brokers in our local area, he came highly recommended from others on the reviews and we haven’t looked back since. We originally went with another mortgage group which specialise in new homes, who were a bunch of cow boys not willing to put the effort in to get us a deal with a lender. As first time buyers, we got knocked back by the first lender through that mortgage group, at this point our housing developers wanted to pull our property from us as we didn’t have a mortgage in place. We gave Steve an emergency phone call, 7pm on a Friday evening, within that SAME evening Steve had contacted our developers for us which he didn’t have to do, but as a customer we were more than grateful as it put the developers at ease, and within 2-3 days he’d got us our mortgage offer on a great deal. We’d gone from thinking we were losing our dream first home, to Steve pulling it out the bag straight away. We only wish we’d have gone to him straight away to avoid the first knock back! We haven’t got the mortgage yet as our property isn’t complete yet, but we look forward to working with Steve further and get everything completed once everything’s finished. Great guy and would absolutely recommend to anyone.
