I’m giving Craig 2* because he got the mortgage in principle for us really quickly and he got us our mortgage. I’m also giving Craig 2* because it took 4-5 weeks from getting the mortgage in principle to the application being fully submitted. Despite being told our application wasn't complicated, it took 2 weeks for Craig to review our details and ask for more information. Moving house and getting a mortgage sorted is stressful, and you want your broker to do their best to make it as smooth as possible, but on this occasion Craig only amplified the stress by saying he’d be in contact with us to discuss progress or say he’d phone on a certain day and time only to leave us hanging or not follow through on what he said he would do, when he said he’d do it by. As an example, we’re now in our new home almost a week and we’re still waiting on Craig to send over next steps, what things we need such as building insurance coverage suggestions, and any other things we need to proceed as new home owners. This wouldn’t have been a big deal had he not told me to expect it two weeks ago. Craig does know his stuff and seems to genuinely care for his customers, yet he seems to be taking on too much and letting the standard of service drop, to where he’s overpromising and underdelivering.

I can't thank Craig enough for all his help in sorting everything for my new home. From start to finish, he made the whole process smooth, stress-free, and easy to understand. His communication was excellent, always keeping me updated and answering all my questions promptly. Craig went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place and worked tirelessly to get the best deal possible.
