Jason Ward Just Mortgages

I unfortunately cannot recommend Jason Ward for a mortgage. Me and my wife used Jason two times. One for our first mortgage and then a second time to renew our mortgage. The first time was mostly fine, but the reason I cannot reccomend Jason is due to the issues that occurred during the mortgage renewal. We got in contact to renew with around 6 months notice. Jason assured us that it would be stress free and he could sort it. However, the months dragged on without further contact. We consistently chased Jason for an update and each time he said he was on track. However, this continued up until 6 weeks before our mortgage was set to expire. Jason, essentially ghosted us and only responded again when he said that we would he using a different mortgage broker. The issues caused by this meant that we had to pay a month on the tracker rate which could have been avoided if Jason’s communication was better or if he had actually done what he said he was going to do. Although this may not be your experience, I would say to try else where; other mortgage brokers offer more and often without a cost from the home owner. We’ve managed to go through a different broker which had no cost and it was also cheaper than the one that Jason had initially found.

Jason helped us secure our very first mortgage and we felt very well looked after. He got us a great deal and some cash back too which was a lovely bonus! He has also supported and advised us through 2 houses falling through and countless calls asking for advice; he’s not just a take your money kind of guy, he really does care!

Jason is such a lovely man who went absolutely above and beyond to help us secure our mortgage and our dream house! We hit a major bump with the house purchase when the sellers backed out a few weeks before completion but he was so supportive in recalculating if we could afford a more expensive mortgage and helped us get everything pushed through in time to secure another purchase before the original mortgage offer ran out. I genuinely cannot thank him enough and will definitely use him again when required.

As first time buyers, we were understandably nervous beginning our mortgage journey and so a friend recommended to contact Jason to act as our mortgage advisor. Throughout the whole journey Jason was exceptional, he helped explain the whole process in a clear and concise way, he was always responsive when we reached out and was professional but friendly throughout. Applying for a mortgage seemed incredibly daunting but Jason helped take all that pressure off and I would certainly recommend him.

Jason has helped me with 2 mortgages now. He is friendly and really approachable. Jason kept me well informed of what I needed to do and when. His fee is very reasonable too so I felt really happy with the whole service. Jason knows my 10 year plan and I trust him to get me ready to either pay off my mortgage or as near as I can be. I would recommend him to anyone needing a genuine person to sort their mortgage.
