This year our son was able to purchase his own home, this has given him security for his future. MySafeHome helped him to obtain a mortgage offer, to successfully apply for the Government HOLD scheme and introduced us to a specialist housing group who help those with learning difficulties. MySafeHome guided us through what is a lengthy and sometimes stressful process. MSH kept in contact with us throughout. They were quick to respond to any queries that we had and always gave reassurance where it was needed.

Wouldn't leave 1 star if could leave minus. After 6 months dealing with this company & the rudeness of the manager David. I do not know how the hold scheme & dudley building society can use MySafeHome in the future once i put my complaint to the relevant bodies. Meant to help disabled? Rip off more like & having a house reserved, raised a question about extra fees, get treated like trash & they decided without negotiation to just drop us. Knowing we face homelessness after section 21, this was our only option to get Shared Ownership property. We have been made to feel like something you step in on the street & discriminated against knowing they have the power with people needing housing & can't get through another source. Luckily we have found a lender & David Abbey has picked on the wrong person this time. Anyone who would like to contact me to add when I start the complaint procedure please do. Dudley building society will also be discussed as they seem to think David is wonderful with their write up. Like other people have said AVOID

My Safe Home were amazing when we were buying a home for my son. Its a complicated process which they explained carefully including risks and during the 6 months it took to co-ordinate the LA, Housing Association, CHC, mortgage company and court of protection David was vital for ironing out issues and explaining the intricacies. We couldn't have done it without him and feel so reassured that my son is safe in his own home for as long as its right for him with oversight from My Safe Futures

Our disabled son has happily lived in a HOLD scheme home for many years, successfully arranged by MySafeHome. This organisation was very helpful supporting us to navigate the sometimes-opaque systems of social care and the local authority. Their knowledgeable interaction with these bodies, combined with linking this to a willing mortgage provider, meant we had a near seamless experience. MySafeFuture has been helpful regarding queries over welfare benefits and any issues over the interest-only mortgage. Overall, it has been a positive experience that has allowed our son the advantage and security of home ownership and the flexibility to move home if necessary. This is doubtless the result of the professional and friendly support we have been given

This is the first time i've ever left a review for anything but I felt i had to respond to these negative reviews for what is a brilliant company helping people with disabilities. I feel the reviewers do not understand how mortgages work and definitely do not understand the HOLD scheme. Of course it can be complicated and cannot be offered to everyone and, of course, there are fees and deposits to be paid but i am so glad that my son was able to use the scheme. He has been living independently for over 10 years now - MySafeHome helped him at the start (yes it does take a while for everything to be finalised) and the staff are still supporting him now. The scheme will only work if there are Housing Associations in your area willing to take this scheme on and all your personal figures add up. It is not down to the hardworking staff at MySafeHome if it doesn't work for you. We thank everyone at MySafeHome for giving their time and expertise to help vulnerable people. Can't praise them enough!
