When I first spoke to Madeleine about whether I’d be able to get a mortgage, I’d assumed the answer would be no. I was self-employed and low-earning and buying on my own but she gave me advice on how to up my credit rating prior to applying for a mortgage and the evidence I’d need to show a provider, plus she gave me hope that I could possibly get a mortgage. When it came to applying, she helped me through the whole process, chose the providers she thought I’d have the best chance with and was so reassuring and helpful. I had issues with HMRC having mis-recorded my tax and she spent so much time going back and forth with the lender to try and get them to accept the documents we had, nothing was too much trouble. In the end I was able to borrow the amount I needed and was able to buy my house! I’m so happy there and I absolutely could not have done it without Madeleine. I don’t think I’d have got a mortgage without her. Thank you Madeleine!
