eToro (UK) Ltd

I deposited $13,500 into my verified eToro account and immediately after that my account was restricted without any clear explanation. I have not been able to access my funds, and customer service responses are extremely slow and unhelpful. There is no live chat option, no direct way to resolve urgent issues, and communication takes days. I was told that resolving account issues or security cases can take “up to 6 weeks”, which is unacceptable when clients’ money is involved. At this point, I feel that my issue is not being handled properly, and I am worried about the lack of transparency. I only want to withdraw my funds, and eToro has not provided a solution so far. This experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing.

Blocking my account twice within 48 hours with active trades, all verification has been done this is not a new account, I’ve active trades currently & no access. No response from their customer care, horrible platform I’ve made official complaints to EU & Cyprus oversight authorities. Stay away from this platform

It’s all good if you using the platform in a sedentary way (only staying in one place) . But if you are Nomade and travel somewhere they don’t operate; you may not be able to use it. I Had a problem using the platform in another country that E-toro doesn’t function and took them over 6 months to reply me and solve it… (of course i couldn’t trade or anything like that during that time). Funny part is that you may be able to put money in but not withdraw ‘due to their policies’

I signed up for Etoro in 2021 as it was they only company in my country to be able to invest and fund an account with a credit/debit card. I submitted the personal paperwork, was verified and bought and held stock for 4 years without any problem. Now comes time to withdraw my investment and ETORO removes bank transfer access, they later tell me I can send to my PayPal account. So I input all the details and they pause the transfer asking for PayPal account proof of ownership. This is personal information, but I want my money and comply. What is their response? they close my account. I am blocked from my account and they have not responded to my messages. Is this Legal? I am going to contact an attorney, my investment was over 10k and I had provided all the verification paperwork at least once a year. This company is by far the worst company I have ever done business with, their customer services is shameful, yet they are quick to take your money. Do yourself a favor and invest with a reputable broker. This company is a scam until they return my money.

Horrible broker… When I made a simple deposit from my ISA into my EToro they restricted all withdrawals. My “dedicated account manager” only responds when he feels like it and isn’t much help when in contact. Then they request a comprehensive history of my financial statements for what was an extremely simple withdrawal. Never seen misconduct like this in my life.
