Thank you to Dean Williams and the excellent team at Oakwood, the team have been first class right from the start of the journey 9 months ago until today, the day after completion. Dean supported me through getting the mortgage as a first time buyer at the age of 47 with a decent term. I thought this would be near on impossible with a small deposit and my age, but he made it work. Every phone call and every email responded to super quick, all queries answered, and I always felt it was a very personal touch. To add, previous life challenges had prevented me from getting on the property ladder to this stage, but every conversation was treated in confidence and with empathy. Oakwood have excelled themselves with my Mortgage, I have had a long an arduous process with multiple brokers Failing to percure an offer that was fit for purpose being self employed. Oakwood and especially David Rogers has been an absolute Star finding the solution to what turned out to be a nightmare of my previous messed up Mortgage, also constantly chasing the virtually Incompetent solicitor (employed by the lender).
