Terrible Experience: Coopers Associates Fails Miserably My recent dealings with Coopers Associates for my mortgage application were nothing short of a nightmare. From the outset, there was a façade of professionalism, but it quickly crumbled, revealing a company that lacks basic courtesy and competence. Despite being promised updates, my inquiries were met with dismissive and condescending responses from my advisor. For instance, when I sought clarity on the status of my application, I was met with the patronizing remark, "I cannot magic one up where this isn’t one." This dismissive attitude left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a client. Even worse, when I expressed my concerns, the advisor failed to offer any meaningful assistance or resolution. Instead, they brushed off the complexities involved, remarking, "The latest is they’re still reviewing your files we submitted last week, this isn’t a simple process of buying a new phone these things take time." This cavalier attitude towards my financial future is simply unacceptable. As someone entrusting Coopers Associates with such a significant financial decision, I expected professionalism, transparency, and respect. Unfortunately, my experience revealed the complete opposite. The lack of communication, dismissive attitude, and overall incompetence displayed by Coopers Associates have left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I cannot in good conscience recommend Coopers Associates to anyone seeking a mortgage. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a company that values its clients and treats them with the respect they deserve. 1 star - A complete failure in every aspect. Sincerely, Archie.

Our mortgage advisor quite simply saved us trawling through deal after deal to find the cheapest one for our circumstances. Of course, we didn’t have to use Coopers but we were specifically recommended them by a friend. We weren't prepared to do the work and research ourselves to go it alone — and we wanted to check the whole of the market. Coopers were happy to do that for us. We got quality advice at times that suited us, we received a mortgage in principle (which helped with some of the estate agents we dealt with) and ultimately Coopers helped to broker a mortgage deal for us - so there were loads of advantages. I would say see if you can beat your broker with deals they can’t access. But even if you can, discuss it with your broker at Coopers as they are happy to help - and they don't charge a fee.

Myself and my husband used Oliver M for our house purchase 2 years ago and he was incredible. From start to finish we had brilliant service. The best advice was to take out a 5 year fixed mortgage and in these trying times has worked out so well for us. Thank you Oliver and we will see you in 3 years time when we need you again. Zoe
