Terry has been a fantastic letting agent. Quick to resolve an issue we had not long after moving in, great communication and was more then understanding about the difficulties would having being able to rent. I always see it, if you’re a good true tenant you’ll have no issues with your agent or landlord. We are looking forward to many more years in this property.

No. Just no. Constant trespassing on property by teens, old enough to know better, have led us to complain - to no avail.l, so must go civil, apparently. They wait until we are not home, throwing balls at house, or playing on our patio, uninvited and while we are out, until one of them gets hurt on our owned property, we are left responsible. Countless emails to this agent, and videos. Was asked by police if I wanted to file a formal report and said no, thinking this agent would be reasonable as in, how would he like it if this were happening to him? A decision I regret, but now see this is harassment of us, as two older women living together, alone, perhaps, to regard us with interpreted LGBT discrimination? Or probably seen as vulnerable? Not sure which…because I cannot understand why an agent wouldn’t want to ensure the peace and safety of surrounding properties, and their owners. Makes no sense. Also, These are Not children - teens, old enough to know better. Tried speaking, kindly, to one of the mothers of these kids only to be sworn at for all neighbourhood to hear. Sent to agent - nothing. Rules for freehold property ownership not being upheld, and intimidation and harassment of two older women living alone.

Avoid! We had a terrible experience with this agency / Terry. The house was filthy when we first moved in. There were loads of items left over from the previous tenant, including a broken freezer underneath the stairs which contained putrid defrosted fishy water in one of the freezer trays. It took weeks/months for any repair requests to be seen to and for the items left behind to be removed. When our tenancy came to an end they had the audacity to attempt to take a huge portion away from our holding deposit. We used an external dispute resolution service and ultimately won and avoided losing upwards of £400. After being exemplary tenants and having to put up with such a shocking service during our tenancy we were adamant they wouldn’t receive a single penny from our holding deposit. I would have rather lost the money than have it go to Under One Roof. I strongly suggest to avoid this “agency”.

Terry from Under1roof has been overseeing our rental properties for the past eight years. He is extremely trustworthy and reliable. He is quick to respond to both tenants and landlords and deals with issues relating to the properties swiftly. Terry has also sourced our mortgages, finding us the best deals. He has a great knowledge of this market and is able to advise us on the best rates available. I would highly recommend using under1roof if you want a genuine, trustworthy and efficient service.

I first met Terry as a tenant with my partner at the time, when we rented a property managed by him. He was responsive when it came to fixing any issues in the house, so when it came to renting my own properties, I was happy that he would provide a good service for both me and the tenants. Terry has been looking after my properties for the last 6+ years and offers very good rates compared to others. It's very handy for me as I'm not in the UK that often. I have and would recommend Terry to others if you have a property that you don't want the hassle of trying to manage yourself.
